Betsy’s skills and joy lie in connecting people, words and actions to spectacular outcomes. She’s excelled in entertainment (movie development, marketing at a start-up television network,) high-level financial public relations and technology product development. Betsy uses her broad experience and skills to create innovative and focused marketing, communication and business strategies to help her clientele grow and prosper.
Betsy earned a degree in mathematics from Smith College and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, the latter as a Babson fellow.
When not Twittering or spending time with her awesome family, Betsy reads everything, worships media (especially questionable t.v.,) scuba-dives and is so set on surfing back in her hometown of Newport Beach, California it scares her husband.

First hire of up-and-coming sales referral and social networking site, strategic planning and marketing projects including creation of company branding and messaging, website marketing and secondary pages.

Conceived and developed “Gravity,” considered an innovative approach to developing applications, products and product concepts for a wireless, technologically integrated “Smart Home.” Advanced the development of this multi-disciplinary project from initial concept through final project presentation to Division President and senior management.

Project Coordinator, UPN Los Angeles, CA 1994-1998
Primary affiliate contact for marketing, entertainment and legal needs; managed affiliate relations and assisted in the acquisition of new affiliates. During tenure affiliate base rose from 13 to 117 stations, covering over 95% of the country. Lead interdepartmental team of 8 as editor of a bimonthly publication of network information and marketing materials sent to all UPN affiliates. Team orchestrated network events and affiliate marketing campaigns, including UPN’s “Upfront,” the network’s largest media selling event, occurring simultaneously in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with over two thousand media buyers in attendance.
