DD17 or JD3: Chicks to Hounds, Snowmaggedon P2

Bridget Jones’s Update of Day 17: BMI: 24.9 (+0.0) Staying strong. Clothes still looooooooser. Activity Level: Goal to SWEAT! this weekend. So careful, careful now. Back feeling better. Glad it didn’t dump 3′ snow, shoveling would have sucked. Meditation: None yesterday. Drat!  Brief Observations: Back in the saddle again, I’m feeling much better, clear head, no headaches (thanks to those who suggested Magnesium.) I hope Dr. Alejandro Junger‘s spies are pleased!

Snow-mageddon, schmo- meggedon.

It rained. And Rained. And a few lazy downy snowflakes fluttered down. By night it was an inch.

But Snowmaggedon.

Nada.

Some believe that the local weathermen (and women) are madly scurrying around Boston in search of snow drifts, man-made or not. Something to justify the hysteria. At some point, as one of my readers pointed out, we will just turn our heads from overly hyped, ratings-driven local news & weather.

What I DID find was this nifty video showing what 2 of the Dixie Chicks are doing. The two sisters, Martie Maguire and Emily Robison, have started their own project called  Court Yard Hounds. Still has the unique flavor of the Dixies but seems like they’ve mixed in some blues and old-style rock. So far so good, I like all kinds of music from MJ’s P.Y.T. to Crosby, Stills and Nash “Southern Cross” to anything by Seal, Sarah McLachlan, Kid Rock and Pink.  My motto is “If it’s good, it’s good.”

From what I glean, The Court Yard Hounds sounds pretty damn good.
